On behalf of myself and my brothers, Al, Rich, Ron and Art, I offer my deepest condolence on the passing of your mom, Maya.

In my mind's eye, I see Maya as she was 23 years ago, at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. I remember her and Cookie dancing polkas, as women often do at Polish weddings when husbands can't attend. I remember Maya's wonderful exuberant laughter, and warm bear hugs...pure joy transmitted to the receiver! I see her smiling face in my mind's eye, and I pray this Easter, freed from all pain and suffering and sorrow, she now rejoices with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and all of our beloved aunts and uncles and cousins , brothers and sisters, and grandmas and grandpas, who have gone before us to the throne of God. May they rest in peace.

In paradisum deducant te Angeli; in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres, et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem. Chorus angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lazaro quondam paupere æternam habeas requiem.

May the angels lead her into paradise; may the martyrs receive her at her arrival and lead her to the holy city Jerusalem. May choirs of angels receive her and with Lazarus, once a poor man, may she have eternal rest.

God bless,
Francine

I am very sorry to read of your loss. With Mrs. Holomshek accomplishments, her love and joys, she was an amazing woman! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, "Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved mother, grandma and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org
