I remember being a young nurse working under your supervision on the night shift for 10 years at McKeesport Hospital. We have some crazy memories that I will never forget. Was so glad to reconnect with you years ago. See you in heaven Supervisor Speroni!

Lois, you were there for all of us during our time of family loss. Words can not express how much it meant to me. I remember both of us saying we were jealous of the person who was now with our Lord in Heaven, but our time would be when he decided to call us home. Give everyone a hug for me and Now and forever R.I.P.

Lois' picture sums her up perfectly, a kind face with a gentle smile hiding a wickedly good sense of humor. It is fitting that the piano background music playing while I write this note was "Wind Beneath My Wings" because that is what Lois was for God Heals Ministry. She worked in the shadows, so to speak, but she was the wind beneath the wings of Cheryl and many facilitators that came after her, including myself. Because of her wind, not only has the ministry helped so many but it will continue to give back--I'll be ordained on Sunday in Charlotte so I can't come to the funeral but I will think of Lois whose gentle encouragement and ministry was part of how God healed me. Well done my sister.
