Zayne Brendon Balmer, 25, of West Newton, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, after a battle with drug addiction. He loved being a dad and being with his girlfriend, Josie. Zayne enjoyed music, skateboarding and cooking, and especially spending time and video gaming with his brothers. He was kind, had a big heart and made friends wherever he went. Surviving are his girlfriend Josie Brown and their daughter, Violet; his mother, Monique Balmer and Roy Predajna; siblings, Aziah, Oliver, Evie, Mia, and Modesta; his grandmothers, Cynthia Young and Dave Zentarsky, and Ruth Sandy-Mayer; grandfather, Dale Sandy; aunts, Stacy Stelma and Debbie Kemmerer; uncle, Dan Predajna; and cousins, Trey Stelma, Tanner, Nathan and Ean Predajna, and Andy and Billy Kemmerer. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Balmer; uncle, Steven Love; cousin, Alex Stelma; and all of his close friends. There will be no public services. Arrangements entrusted to the J.
