William A. “Hatchet” Hall, 82 of Sutersville, formerly of Wisconsin, died Monday, August 12, 2019 at his sister’s home, where he resided. He was born October 7, 1936 in Donora, a son of the late Harry A. and Florence Mae (Behanna) Hall, Sr. William was an avid bowler, having several “300” games, and taught youth bowling. He also enjoyed golfing and the casinos. Prior to retirement he was employed by Hatco. Surviving are two daughters, Christine Thompson and Stacey Hall; two sisters, Carolyn Casoni and Ida Evans; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Hall, Harry A. Hall, Jr., and Dennis James Hall; and a sister, Freda Ferretti. As per William’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements entrusted to the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, West Newton.
