Thomas E. MacDonald

Thomas E. MacDonald, 69, of West Newton, died Wednesday, March 23, 2022.  He was born May 8, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late C. William and Velma (Easter) MacDonald.  Tom was a member of the West Newton Cemetery Association Board of Trustees.  Prior to retirement he was employed by D & S Hoist and Crane.  An avid musician, he played in several bands.  Surviving are his wife, Cheryl (Hall) MacDonald; daughter, Allison Markle and husband, Ben; stepson, David A. Paul; grandson, Bennett Markle; step granddaughter, Ashley Vincur; sister, Amy Schaich and husband, Bill; brother James MacDonald and wife, Robin; nieces; and a nephew.  Friends will be received 4-7 pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 12 pm Monday.  The family requests everyone wear a mask.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
