Steven M. Leone

Steven M. Leone, 59, of Sutersville, died Sunday, October 29, 2023.  He was born December 30, 1963, a son of the late Joseph and Leona (Chopp) Leone, Sr.  A graduate of Yough High School, he previously worked for the former Sutersville Lumber, Westmoreland Hospital and WalMart.  He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pirates.  Steven was a devoted son who lovingly took care of his ailing widowed mother for many years.  Surviving are nieces, Kristen Dreistadt and husband, John, and Kaitlin Allen and husband, Ken; great nephew and nieces, Nico, Nyla and Noella Dreistadt; an uncle, Glenn Chopp and wife Nancy; and several cousins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Carole Leone; and a brother, Joseph Leone, Jr.  Friends will be received 10 to 10:45 am Wednesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am in Holy Family Church, West Newton.  Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
