Scott Smouse

Scott Smouse, 64, of West Newton, died Thursday, August 22, 2024.  He was born October 27, 1959, a son of the late Robert and Marlyn (Berry) Smouse.  Prior to retirement he was employed by the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County.  Scott was an avid fisherman and hunter.  Surviving are his wife, Billie Jean (Erickson) Smouse; three sons, Dr. Cody Robert Smouse and wife, Jean, Travis Russell Smouse, and Lane Thomas Smouse; grandchildren, Bennett Scott Smouse and Taylor Rose Smouse; a brother, Rex Smouse and wife, Darcy; nieces, Chelsea Bithell and husband, Chris, and Nicole Peeler and husband, David; and great nieces and nephews.  There will be no public visitation and services will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
