Sandra J. (Shychuck) Prinkey

Sandra J. Prinkey, 72, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, June 28, 2023.  She was born May 29, 1951, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Violet (Newman) Shychuck.  Sandy was formerly employed by Business Career Institute.  She always looked forward to family gatherings.  An avid flower gardener, she also enjoyed riding the lawn tractor.  Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Gregory W. Prinkey; siblings, Robert (Kathy) Shychuck, William Shychuck, James (Marlene) Shychuck, Nancy Huber, and Karen (Frank) Tracey; nieces and nephews, Kristie Shychuck, Stephanie (Craig) Lash, William (Glory) Shychuck, Jr., Nicole Ofchinick (fiancée, Craig Wilson), Jamie (Brad) Oakman, Sarah (Adam) Landry, Julie (Dan) Wozniak, David (Sierra) Cox, and Patrick Tracey (fiancée, Naomi Shirley); great nieces and nephews, Paisley, Brynlee and Everlee Lash, Emma and Lilly Shychuck, Ava, Malana and Shayna Ofchinick,  Ewan Landry, Nala Ferguson, Lucas Wozniak and Guinevere Cox.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Shirley Shychuck.  Friends will be received 2-6 pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 10 am Monday.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
