Ruth M. (Kuno) White

Ruth M. White, 84, of West Newton, died Monday, June 30, 2025.  She was born June 10, 1941, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Hranko) Kuno.  Ruth had been employed by the former Dairy Land in West Newton.  She loved to crochet and cook, and enjoyed going shopping.  Surviving are two children, Brian White and Lauri Ann Cuthbert and husband, Don; sisters, Lois Schuh, Victoria Brown, Shirley Keck; brother David Kuno; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, August P. White, Jr.; and sisters, Annette Cornell and Esther Meadows.  Friends will be received 6-8 pm Wednesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St., West Newton, where final goodbyes will be said at 10 am Thursday.
