Richard H. Craft, 77, of Rostraver Township, formerly of West Newton, died Sunday, March 8, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born March 13, 1948 a son of the late C. William and Mary “Maydee” (Harper) Craft. Prior to retirement he was employed by Vista Metals. Rick was a member of West Newton United Presbyterian Church, East Monongahela Sportsmen, Rostraver Township Sportsmen, the NRA, and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. An avid hunter, he built muzzleloaders with carvings and inlays. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Joyce (Houston) Craft; two daughters, Jessica (Troy) Bungard and Sara (Shawn) Miller; four grandchildren, Cody, Dylan and Mackenzie Craig, and Maxwell Miller; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean (Davis “Porky”) Fry; niece, Nicole (Mark) Thompson; nephew, Nathan (Kelliann) Fry; great nieces and nephews, Hannah, Kourtney, Zack, Lylah and Kenzingtyn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, W. Scott Craft. Friends will be received 3-8 pm Friday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St., West Newton, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Saturday.
