Regis R. Risku, Sr.

Regis R. Risku, Sr., 81, of Collinsburg, died Thursday, July 14, 2022.  He was born July 11, 1941 a son of the late John and Helen (Soyka) Risku.  Prior to retirement he was employed by US Steel and also was a mechanic and helped install garage doors with his brother.  Regis was a member of Collinsburg Hunting and Fishing Club, Fairhope Rod and Gun Club, Slovenian Club and German Club, both of Collinsburg, West Newton Sportsmen’s Club, Moose, and Naomi Athletic Club.  He loved going to the Collinsburg Hunting and Fishing Club as well as hunting trips to Potter County.  Regis will be dearly missed by family and friends.  Surviving are three children, Rene Ofcansky and husband, Hank; Regis R. Risku, Jr. and Dana Waugh and husband, Monte; grandchildren, Brandon R. Risku and wife Michelle (Augustine), Cody J. Risku and Bryah E. Risku; a great granddaughter, McKinley R. Risku; brother, Bill J. Risku and wife, Linda; sisters, Carol Boyd and husband, Tom, Susan Keefer and husband, Jim and Sandra Calcagni and husband, Amel; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Ann (Christner) Risku.  As per his wishes there will be no viewing.  A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
