Rebecca L. Walmsley

Rebecca L. Walmsley, 96, of Elizabeth Twp., died Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  She was born September 22, 1925 in Budtown, a daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Householder) Walmsley.  Rebecca was a member of Holy Family Church, West Newton.  She was previously employed by Elizabeth Forward School district and the former A&P Grocery.  Surviving are nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas “Cy”, William, James, Richard, Ackland and Charles Walmsley; and sisters, Margaret Jane Strong and Emma Doerfler.  Friends will be received 9-10:30am Thursday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am in Holy Family Church.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
