Ralph L. Colvin

Ralph L. Colvin, 77, of West Newton, died Monday, October 21, 2024.  He was born September 25, 1947 in Sutersville, a son of the late Thomas and Ethel (Legan) Colvin.  Prior to retirement he was employed by US Steel Irvin Works for 30 years.  Ralph was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Navy; and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, West Newton.  Surviving are his wife, Laura Colvin; daughter, Misty Van Norman and husband, Andrew; grandchildren, Amelia Celeste and Andrew David; sisters, Donna Harshberger and husband, Joe, Georgia Peska and husband, Willie, and Tena Romonosky and husband, Tom; brothers, Floyd Michael Colvin and wife, Kathy, and Steve Colvin; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Zugai; and a brother, Thomas Colvin.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 Thursday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St., West Newton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm Friday in Holy Family Church, West Newton.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
