Primo Casoni, 66, of Monessen, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He was born April 2, 1956 in West Newton a son of Janet (Nuttall) Vargo and Carol Casoni, who survive, and the late Adrasto “Junebug” Casoni, Jr. Prior to retirement he was employed by Lone Pine Construction. Primo was a member of WMBU and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and motorcycle riding. Also surviving are his wife, Chrissy Casoni; daughters, Jacqueline Casoni, Kelly Casoni, Megan Poklembo, Kelsey Casoni, and Kaylie (Jake) Mock; step children, Jennifer (Jason) Kovar and Jake Yenchenko; 11 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth Boden, Anthony (JoAnn) Casoni, George Paul (Julie) Casoni, James (Jan) Kimberly, Dennis (Kathy) Kimberly, Renae Vargo, Sam Vargo and John Vargo; sister-in-law, Nancy Casoni; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by brothers, Adrasto George Casoni, Sr. and Joseph Frank Vargo; and sister-in-law, Lori Vargo. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a service will be held at 10 am Monday.
