Phyllis M. (Poole) Brown

Phyllis M. Brown, 91, of West Newton, died Sunday, December 22, 2024.  She was born December 28, 1932 daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Fetter) Poole.  Phyllis was a member of United Methodist Church, Bakerstown; a former member of the West Newton Methodist Church; and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Monessen Chapter 205.  Surviving are five children, Edward Brown, Jr. and wife, Mary Ann of PA, Pamela Harrison and husband, Noah of VA, Alice Pelkey and husband, Kraig of MD, Kevin Brown and wife, Carla of WV, and Heather Ladesic and husband, Robert of PA; 13 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brown.  Friends will be received 9 – 11 am Friday, at which time a funeral service will be held at the J.
