Neal Genemore

Neal Genemore, 65, of West Newton, died Thursday, December 8, 2022.  He was born April 23, 1957 a son of the late Dominic and Jeanne (Hula) Genemore.  Neal was a lifelong resident of West Newton, where he was a volunteer and community supporter, especially with Downtown West Newton, Inc.  A graduate of St. Vincent College, he had a love of music, was a talented pianist and was a former director of West Newton Community Singers.  Prior to retirement he was a business manager for the Diocese of Greensburg and owner of Genemore Insurance Agency in West Newton.  Neal was a member of Holy Family Church, West Newton.  Surviving are a brother, Mark Genemore and wife, Babs; sisters, Karen Werner (David) and Joanie Potiseck and husband, Jim; nephew, Christopher Werner and wife, Mengya; niece, Brenna Genemore; and great nephew, Dominic Kuszaj.  Friends will be received 2-6 pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday in Holy Family Church, West Newton.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 200 Vesey St, 28th Floor, New York, NY 10281.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
