Michael R. Quinn, 71, of Sutersville, died Sunday, December 7, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 4, 1954, a son of the late Rayburn and Eleanor (Sacunas) Quinn. Mike previously worked for US Steel Duquesne plant and then transitioned into nursing, where he was always caring and empathetic with his patients. A devout Christian he was always involved in music and was a member of Holy Family Church, West Newton; the Knights of Columbus Council #3026; and the Knights of Song of Duquesne/West Mifflin. A wonderful husband and father, he was involved in his sons’ lives, including coaching them in baseball and soccer. An avid golfer, he enjoyed sports, family vacations and RVing. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Tina (Azzari); sons, Christopher Quinn and wife, Jessica, and Brandon Quinn and wife, Emily; grandchildren, Olive and Cole; siblings, Shawn Quinn and wife, Pam, Patricia Moeller and husband, James, and Kathy McKenna and husband, Vincent; sisters-in-law, Corrine Hancock and husband, Carl and Annette Patterson and husband, John; Kirstie Moore; nieces and nephews; and his dog, Quincy. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St., West Newton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday in Holy Family Church, West Newton. The Angels of Westmoreland Nursing Honor Guard will hold services at 6:30 pm and the Knights of Columbus at 7:30 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to Gridiron Home, Inc.
