Michael F. Gunchuck

Michael F. “Gunner” Gunchuck, Jr., 69, of West Newton, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021.  He was born May 16, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Csorba) Gunchuck.  Gunner was a graduate of Clarion State College.  He was a member of Holy Family Church, VFW Post 7812, American Legion Post 401, and AmVets, all of West Newton; and also Collinsburg Leiderkranz and The Retired Enlisted Association.  Surviving are a sister, Roberta Sue Gunchuck; an aunt; cousins; and friends.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother.  Friends will be received 9-11:30 am Saturday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
