Matthew Yurkovich

Matthew Yurkovich, 83, of West Newton, died Saturday, September 9, 2023.  He was born December 31, 1939 a son of the late Matthew and Mary (Kolenc) Yurkovich.  Matt loved golf and his wife, Marlene, in that order.  Surviving is his wife, Marlene (Hiiva) Yurkovich; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Hodynski and brothers, Donald and Carl Yurkovich.  As per his wishes, there will be no visitation.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Friday, October 20, 2023, in Holy Family Church, 225 N Second St., West Newton.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
