Mary Margaret (Reed) Snyder

Mary Margaret (Reed) Snyder, 77, formerly of Sutersville, died Sunday, December 2, 2018.  She was born May 27, 1941 in Cheswick, a daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Nunley) Reed.  Mary had been a member of the former Sutersville Presbyterian Church; and was the “neighborhood mom”.  She was cherished by her family and will be greatly missed.  Surviving are three children, Keith Snyder and wife, Lisa, Laurel Keegan and Steve Thompson, and Jennifer Wiley and husband, Jim; five grandchildren, Joshua Snyder, Kyndll Snyder, Alyssa Keegan, and Garrett and Gunner Prutznal; four great grandchildren, Marlena Snyder, Wyatt Snyder, Liam Snyder, and Jaxon Farmer; two sisters, Lois Wilson and Hazel Reed; her former spouse, George Snyder; and brother-in-law, Bill Smith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Smith; son-in-law, James Keegan; and brother-in-law, Jim Wilson.  As per Mary’s wishes, services will be private.  Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dementia and Alzheimer’s research.  Arrangements are entrusted to the J.
