Mary E. (Magill) Greenawalt

Mary E. Greenawalt, 99, of West Newton, died Wednesday, March 21, 2023.  She was born September 21, 1923 in West Newton, a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Vero) Magill.  Prior to retirement she was employed by Dr. Hughes.  Mary was a member of West Newton United Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.  Surviving are four children, Earl Jr. and wife Pam, Ruth Camp and husband, Charles, Nancy Greenawalt, and J. Brian Greenawalt; three grandchildren, Tracy, Brianne, and Brian Greenawalt; a great grandson, Nicholas; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Greenawalt, Sr.; brothers, Ralph and John Magill; sisters, Daryl Shaw, Dorothy Matty, Helen Troup, Elsie Brundage, Ruth Jane Manown, and Joyce Hall.  Friends will be received 10-11:30 am Saturday, with a funeral service at 11:30, at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.  Interment will be in Mill Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Newton United Presbyterian Church, PO Box 314, West Newton PA 15089.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
