Malis J. (Tolari) Rush

Malis J. Rush, 97, of Sutersville, died Thursday, October 14, 2021.  She was born June 24, 1924 in Sutersville, daughter of the late Mario and Maria Tolari.  A lifelong resident of Sutersville, Malis was a devoted member of the former St. Charles Church, Sutersville, and Holy Family Church, West Newton.  She was a dedicated wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Surviving are three children, Joseph R. Rush, Lisa M. Schlentz and husband, Bob and Robert M. Rush; three grandchildren, Kelsey Corr and husband, Tucker, David Schlentz and wife, Olivia and Richard Schlentz; and great grandchildren, Dillon and Brady Corr.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Rush; and brothers Geno and Dillie Tolari.  Friends will be received 9-10:30 am Monday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am in Holy Family Church, West Newton.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
