Linda M. (Kuhel) Thorne

Linda Marie Thorne, 61, a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nana, of Gratztown, passed away on August 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Linda was born September 6, 1962, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Joseph Kuhel Jr. and Joan (Maline) Kuhel. She graduated from Hempfield Area High School in 1980.  Prior to her retirement, Linda was employed by the United States Postal Service for 26 years. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and walking her beloved dog Shiloh.  Linda is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Thorne, of 35 years; her son Jeffrey Thorne Jr. and partner Amy Federoff, and her daughter Katie and husband Cody Danlovich; her two grandchildren Aiden and Aubrey Jo Danlovich. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Kuhel and wife Patricia, her sister, Christine and husband Richard Strama, and her sister Janet and the late Art Caruso, several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends, both past and present.  As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
