Linda J. (Israel) Bachrik

Linda J. Bachrik, 74, of West Newton, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022.  She was born September 8, 1947 in New York, New York, a daughter of the late Albert and Toby (Elish) Israel.  Prior to retirement she was a substitute teacher for Yough School District.  Linda was a member of the West Newton Women’s Club for over 30 years, and was a librarian at the West Newton Library.  Her passion was reading.  Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Francis Bachrik; a daughter, Heather Bachrik; a sister, Francine Mehler and husband, Lee; a brother, Andrew Israel and wife, Ellen; and nieces and nephews.  As per her wishes, there will be no viewing or services.  Memorial contributions may be made to West Newton Public Library, 124 N Water St., West Newton PA 15089.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
