Lillian (Kreminsky) Halahurich

Lillian (Kreminsky) Halahurich, 88, of Sutersville, died Friday, August 12, 2022 in UPMC Family Hospice, Lawrenceville.  She was born February 8, 1934 in Sutersville, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Koget) Kreminsky.  She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, West Newton.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be missed by many.  Surviving are her two children: Stephen Raymond Halahurich and wife, Tracy, of Sutersville; Drew Halahurich and wife, Natalie, of Jeannette; two grandchildren: Stephen Tyler Halahurich and Raymond Halahurich; dear cousins: Charlene Altemare and Carmene Keenan both of Monongahela; and special friends: Margaret "Peggy" Pontoriero of Sutersville and Tracy Orlando of Mount Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Steve Halahurich and three sisters, Agnes Theresa Hildenbrand, Rose Mary Forty, and Cecelia Arlene Deatherage. Friends received from 4-8 pm Tuesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St., West Newton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 225 North Second Street, West Newton.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
