Judith N. Backstrom, 77, of West Newton, died Monday, February 8, 2021. She was born September 11, 1943 in West Newton, a daughter of the late Robert and Hunteretta (Boyd) Smith. Judie was a member of the Pink Ladies Bowling League at Brunswick Lanes. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mayetta Gross; and brothers, Dennis, Robert, and Thomas Smith. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
