Josephine B. Hribar, 100, of Wyano, died Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born January 21, 1926 in Castle Shannon, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Pluta) Krzemien. Josephine was a member of Seven Dolors Roman Catholic Church, Yukon and the Sunshine Club at St. Edward Church, Herminie. A great cook and baker, she enjoyed traveling; and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Derr and husband, John; a son, Bill Hribar and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Steven Derr and wife, Lynne Finnerty and Billy Hribar and wife, Jaimie; great grandchildren, Claire and Clayton Derr, and Jase and Cole Hribar. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hribar; and siblings, Stanley Krzemien, Rose Czarnecki, John Krzemien, Frank Krzemien, Anna Popek, and Helen Milewski. Friends will be received 5-8 pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St., West Newton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday in Seven Dolors Church, Yukon.
