John "Zeke" Koricich

John “Zeke” Koricich, 95, of Collinsburg, died Sunday, November 20, 2022.  He was born July 26, 1927 in West Newton, a son of the late Joseph and Katherine Koricich.  Prior to retirement he was employed by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #354.  A member of the VFW, he served in the Army in occupied Japan as a military policeman.  Zeke enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family.  Surviving are two sons, Jan Koricich and Joel Koricich and wife, Kelly; grandchildren, John Koricich and wife, Terri, Jessica Fitzgerald and husband, P.J., Jilian Kendi and husband, Bryan, and Kirstie Koricich; great grandchildren, Ally Fitzgerald, Addy Koricich, and Samuel and Vivian Kendi; a sister, Frances Tamasy; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Rauth) Koricich; and siblings, Mary, Mike, Nick, Ann, Charles, and Frank.  Services and burial in West Newton Cemetery are private.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
