On June 24, 2026, Joanne Brantlinger Augustine joined the Lord after a long, courageous battle against multiple medical issues. She fought hard to the very end. Joanne was a loving, caring and devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was loved and cherished by all, with several having their own nicknames for her…Momma, Meme, JoJo and Joey. She will be taken to heaven with the most outrageous cast of characters you would have ever met, her parents, Charles and Margaret; sisters, and brothers-in-law, Betty, Maxine and Rich, Victoria and Rich and Marty. Her loving fur babies, Maggie and Savannah. Although she is gone and will be terribly missed, her memory and strength will carry on thru the ones she loved, her sons, Charles and Kayla, Chad and Christine; her very best friend and daughter, Christine and Rick; her eldest sister, Carol; grandchildren, Emma, Alli, Collin, Shane and Skylar; many nieces and nephews; and dearest friends, Sandy and Faith. We are at peace knowing that Joanne’s pain is no longer and know that we will meet again. As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements entrusted to the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, West Newton. Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
