Jeanne D. (Lux) Minkus

Jeanne D. Minkus, 78, of Sutersville, died Friday, March 13, 2026.  She was born October 30, 1947, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Smayda) Lux.  Prior to retirement she was employed by Dollar Bank for 48 years.  She was a member of Holy Family Church, West Newton.  Jeanne was always doing for others.  Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Leonard “Stush” Minkus; nieces and nephews; many loving friends; and her beloved animals, (cats, dogs, goats and cows).  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, John, Tom and Ken; and sisters, Betsy Lux and Carole Johnston.  As per Jeanne’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
