Hila (Gras) Beatty

Hila G. Beatty, 96, of West Newton, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  She was born August 20, 1925 in West Newton, a daughter of the late Otto and Teresa (Miller) Gras.  Hila was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church, West Newton.  Prior to retirement she was employed by Gulf Oil for 32 years.  Surviving are eight nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Beatty; sisters, Mary Lou Gulasky and Nancy Jacob; and brother, William Gras.  As per her wishes there was no viewing.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 4, at Christ Lutheran Church, Vine and 3rd Streets, West Newton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, PO Box 251, West Newton PA 15089.  Arrangements are entrusted to the J.
