Helen M. (Rock) Bergman

Helen M. Bergman, 99, of West Newton, died Thursday, September 23, 2021.  She was born September 27, 1921 in West Newton, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Klein) Rock.  Helen was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, West Newton.  Surviving are two children, Ron Bergman and wife, Deidre, and Gay Ramsey; grandchildren, Ronald Jr. and Brandon Bergman; and three great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bergman; granddaughter, Robin Bergman; brothers, John, Joseph, Alvin, William, Elmer, Arthur, Mike, and James Rock; her twin sister, Molly Rock; and sisters, Hazel Rock and Mary Rindt.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8pm Monday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 10 am Tuesday.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
