Harry Edward Hamilton

Harry Edward Hamilton, 77, of West Newton, died Tuesday, May 23, 2023.  He was born May 2, 1946, son of the late Harry and Florence (Curry) Hamilton.  Prior to retirement he was employed by Christy Park Industries.  Ed was a member of First Baptist Church, the Moose and VFW, all of West Newton, and the German Club of Collinsburg.  Surviving are two daughters, Anita Christie and husband, Ron, and Christin Hamilton; five grandchildren, Jakob Korber, Zoey and Ben Greenwood, and Tahya and Kiyana Barker; nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Gentsch, Marty White, Kim White and Cindy Sabbers.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Charmaine “Charli” (Parnahay) Hamilton; a daughter, Nicole Hamilton; an infant son, Paul; sisters, Eleanore Mori and Connie Conway; nephews, Brad and Brian Mori; and son-in-law, Chris Greenwood.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where services will be held at 11 am Saturday.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Avenue of Flags, c/o Kathy Montgomery, 205 Denny St., West Newton, PA 15089.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
