Gladys V. (Williams) Edwards

Gladys V. Edwards, 85, of Mendon, died Monday, September 4, 2023.  She was born December 6, 1937 in Smithton, daughter of the late Charles and Violet (Sherbondy) Williams.  Gladys was a member of Barren Run United Methodist Church.  Anyone that ever ate one of her homemade buns had a delicious bite.  She enjoyed helping others and being on the go.  Surviving are two daughters, Carol Edwards and Charlene Edwards.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Edwards; and brothers, Argyle and Gerald Williams.  There will be no visitation.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Saturday in Barren Run United Methodist Church, 569 Barren Run Road, Smithton.  Interment will follow in Barren Run Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the J.
