Gary L. Shoemaker

Gary L. Shoemaker, 71, of West Newton, died Thursday, August 5, 2021.  He was born June 22, 1950 in Greensburg.  Prior to retirement he was employed as a welder.  Gary served in the Army, 82nd Airborne.  Surviving are a brother, Donald A. Shoemaker, Sr. and wife Carol; a sister, Carol Striker; and nieces and nephews, Donald A. Shoemaker, Jr. and wife, Kelly, Jodie M. Levine and husband, Jeff, Susan Bender and husband, Monte, Amy M. Striker and David J. Striker.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Leo Shoemaker and Janet (Momyer) Grush; and a brother-in-law, James Bruce Striker.  There will no visitation or services.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
