Francis X. Garlits

Francis X. Garlits, Jr., 70, of Monessen, died Monday, April 1, 2024.  He was born October 16, 1953 in Greensburg.  Fran was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School.  Prior to retirement he was employed by Walmart in Belle Vernon.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of Trout Unlimited and the NRA.  Fran was also a member of First Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon.  Surviving is his wife of 31 years, Janet Barclay Garlits.  There will be no visitation.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
