Esther Kathryn (Knight) Bernadowski

Esther Kathryn “Toots” Bernadowski, 91, of Sutersville, died Friday, February 18, 2022.  She was born December 4, 1930 in Elizabeth Township, a daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Couser) Knight.  Toots was a member of the Sutersville Primitive Methodist Church.  Surviving are a son, Timothy Bernadowski and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Timothy Bernadowski, Jr. and wife Samantha, and Caitlin Breindel and husband, Alex; a sister, Helen Lubic; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Bernadowski; a sister, Margaret Zurawski; and brothers, David and Richard Knight.  Friends will be received 6-8 pm Tuesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a service will be held at 10 am Wednesday.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rostraver West Newton Emergency Services.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
