Emerson E. Mauk, 79, formerly of West Newton, died Saturday, August 13, 2022. He was born August 9, 1943 in West Newton to Lloyd and Alberta (Markle) Mauk. Emerson “Emo” had been a member of the West Newton Fire Department, as his father before him, for numerous years. Prior to retirement he was employed at US Steel Clairton Works. Emo continued to work after that for Speny’s car dealership as a part of their delivery department. He enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races with his wife. Emo is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Glasgow Mauk; brother, Lloyd Mauk; sister, Janet Mauk Huss of Sutersville; son, Todd Mauk; daughter, Kelly Mauk Keyes; 5 + Grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; step sons Jeffrey B. Glasgow (Brenda) of Jeannette, and David S. Glasgow Jr. (Lisa) of Greensburg; 4 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. All services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the J.
