Elizabeth Ann (Striker) Moorhead

Elizabeth Ann Moorhead, 83 of Herminie, formerly of West Newton, died Monday, March 3, 2025.  She was born May 10, 1941, daughter of the late Kenneth and Isabelle (Monath) Striker.  Betty loved her grandchildren.  She was an avid reader and frequently went to the West Newton Library; and enjoyed going to the senior citizens center, crocheting, and knitting.  Surviving are three children, Matthew (Kelly) Moorhead, Pamela Moorhead (Rich Keller), and Nicole Moorhead, who was her caregiver; seven grandchildren, Madison Moorhead, Jonathan Jerina, Cole and Dylan Keller, Sean (Savannah) Spoonhoward, Seth (Nikki) Spoonhoward, and Makayla Spoonhoward; three great grandchildren, Presley, Oaklyn, and Lilly.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Bruce Striker.  As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
