Elinor (Swainson) Nader

Elinor S. Nader, 91, of West Newton, died Thursday, December 6, 2018.  She was born April 27, 1927 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Murman) Swainson.  Elinor was a lifelong member of the Evangelical Congregational Church in McKeesport.  Prior to retirement she was employed as an accountant with Walter H. Schmitt and Associates.  Surviving are two daughters, Lori Parkison and husband, Kent and Betsy Algeri and husband, Rich; grandchildren, April Gardner and husband, Jeff, Kenny Parkison, Steven Parkison, Justin Hoffer, Ben Hoffer, and Nick Algeri; a great grandchild, Savannah Hoffer; a sister, Ruth Johnson; a brother, Jack Swainson; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nader; and sisters, Blanche Thomas and Grace McGinty.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday.  Interment will be in West Newton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Evangelical Congregational Church, 312 Olive St., McKeesport, PA 15132.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhomes.com
