Edna M. (Stewart) Rhoades

Edna M. Rhoades, 102, of Sutersville, died Sunday, September 17, 2023.  She was born August 10, 1921 in Smithdale, daughter of the late Samuel and Helen (Coleman) Stewart.  Edna was a member of Sutersville Primitive Methodist Church.  Everyone who knew her knew that she loved Jesus.  Surviving are a son, Von Rhoades, granddaughters, Tammy Skokut and husband, Adam, Terri Evans and husband, Tim, and Christie Sebek and husband, George; great grandchildren, Shailyn, Stephen, Seth, Shaun, Jasmine, and Sofia.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stephen Rhoades; and a great grandson, lil’ Adam.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Thursday in Sutersville Primitive Methodist Church.  Everyone is to meet at church.  Interment will be in West Newton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Sutersville Primitive Methodist Church.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
