David F. “Dub” Markle, 88, of West Newton, died Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was born March 9, 1937 in West Newton, son of the late Frank and Florence (Williams) Markle. Prior to retirement he owned Markle Farm Service for over 30 years. Dub enjoyed his motorcycles and traveling cross country on them. An avid hunter, he loved horses. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Sandy (Morgan) Markle; daughters, Tracey Polomoscanik and husband, Bryan and Kelly Calderone and husband, Brad; grandchildren, Taylor, Riley and Logan Polomoscanik, and Sydney Calderone; brothers-in-law, Ron Morgan and wife, Kathy, and James Besse. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lois McMahan. As per his request, services and burial are private. Family and friends are invited to remember him privately.
