David M. King

David M. King, 67, of West Newton, died Saturday, July 8, 2023.  He was born December 4, 1955, a son of the late Jerry and Mildred (Wukovich) King.  David’s greatest joy was hunting, fishing, and coaching and watching his son play baseball.  Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Darcy (August) King; son, David King and wife, Taryn; sister, Kathy Chew and husband, Floyd; his mother-in-law, Patricia “Bette” August; brother-n-law and best friend, Kerry August and wife, Lana; brother-in-law, Joe August; nieces and nephews; and his furry companions, Bobo and Lexie Lou.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond King; his father-in-law, Joseph August; and furry companions, Missy, Reggie, Tanner, and Kenzie.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
