Daniel J. Moore

Daniel J. Moore, 57, of West Newton, died Thursday, January 4, 2024.  He was born September 14, 1966 in Passaic, NJ, a son of the late John and Dolores (Gebuis) Moore.  Dan spent his working life in heavy equipment and construction.  A selfless person, he loved helping others and spending time with his family.  An avid Enduro motorcycle rider, he lived each day to its fullest.  Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Diana Moore; daughter and son, Jessica Moore and Daniel Moore and wife, Megan, both of West Newton, and John Daniel Moore of Florida; brothers, Michael Moore and wife, Sue, and John Moore and wife, Gina; sister, Donna Wurst and husband, Craig; his father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Helen Margoneri; and numerous other family members and friends.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Moore.  Friends will be received 4-8 pm Monday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 am Tuesday.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
