Curtis C. McCarthy

Curtis C. McCarthy, 72, of Rillton, died Sunday, May 7, 2023.  He was born August 21, 1950, a son of the late John and Regina (Clay) McCarthy.  Prior to retirement he was a pipefitter for 32+ years.  Curtis was an avid trap shooter, mostly at Trafford, Ruffs Dale and Herminie Sportsmen’s.  He was a loving father and friend to all.  Surviving are two sons, Jarrad McCarthy and Eric McCarthy and wife Erica; step grandchildren, Alexa and Meadow Calderone; and a brother, Francis McCarthy.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John McCarthy; and sisters, Patricia Austeri and Sally Plotitza.  Friends will be received 4-8pm Thursday at the J.
