Christopher D. Greenwood, 48, of Sewickley Township, died Friday, January 7, 2022. He was born May 15, 1973, a son of the late Curtis and Irene (Mains) Greenwood. Chris was employed by Masco Interiors as a carpenter. He was a coach for Yough Midget Football. The best dad ever, he put his kids before himself and would do anything for his family. He loved all types of music, art, and gardening, and was known for his culinary skills. Surviving are his loving partner of 22 years, Christin Hamilton; children, Jakob Korber, Zoey Greenwood and Benjamin Greenwood; a sister, Susan Jeney and Fred Dull; a brother, Richard Greenwood and wife, Louise; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Jesse, Ashley, and Marty; great nieces and nephews; and father-in-law, Ed Hamilton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Koerber; brother-in-law, Marty Jeney, Sr.; and godmother, Mary Louise Frantz. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday.
