Charles G. Balko, 69, of West Newton, died Sunday, March 16, 2025. He was born June 3, 1955, a son of the late Charles and Alice (Sager) Balko. Prior to retirement he was employed by Kennametal in Irwin. Charles was a member of the LOOM #31, and VFW, both of West Newton, the Leiderkranz of Collinsburg, and for over 40 years, the United Steelworkers Union. He enjoyed riding his Harley. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Evelyn (Jarmon) Balko; daughters, Shannon McMillen and husband, Jeff, and Melissa Park and Roger Nativio; grandchildren, CJ McMillen and Kryslyn Williams, Billy McMillen, and Billy McMillen, Ariana and Christian Park, and Ava Dietz; great grandchildren, Maddox and Malia McMillen; brother, Dennis Balko and wife, Lori; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David and Richard Balko. Friends will be received 3-5 pm Tuesday at the J.
