Brandon G. Detman 40, of Smithton, died Sunday June 12, 2022. He was born November 25, 1981 in Monongahela, a son of Clark G. "Pie" and Linda M. (Nickolls) Detman of West Newton. He was a graduate of Yough High School class of 2000, where he was an all conference football player. He also played baseball for West Newton. He worked as a maintenance tech for Beacon Communities. He enjoyed golf and fishing and making his famous Brandon hot sauce. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, DeeAnn M. (Yadlosky) Detman; two children, Carter B. Detman and Gracie M. Detman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason C. Detman; paternal grandparents, William Detman II and Florence Detman Ondrik; and his maternal grandparents, Fredrick and LaVerne Nickolls. Arrangements entrusted to the J William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, West Newton. Services are private. Family suggests memorial contributions to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
