Barbara M. Moorhead

Barbara M. Moorhead, 79, of West Newton, died at home on Friday May 9, 2025. She was born March 13, 1946, a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Waulkish) McCullough. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, William, George, Bunny and infant brother Ed, her sisters, Helen Salisbury and Linda Kistler. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, George C. Moorhead; two daughters, Kelly C. Moorhead of Philadelphia, and Courtney Overly of West Newton; four grandchildren, Austin Overly, Ryelee Overly, Taylor Delzotto, Peyton Delzotto; and a brother Clarence "Mac" McCullough of Houston PA. Barbara was a member of the West Newton United Presbyterian Church.  Friends will be received Monday May 12, 2025 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the J. William McCauley Jr Funeral Home, 901 Vine St., West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday May 13, 2025 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
