Arlene J. McMillen, 82, of Lowber, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021. She was born February 21, 1939 in Lowber, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Heinzic) Horney. Arlene was a member of the former St. Charles Church, Sutersville and the former Lowber Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are a daughter, Tami A. Allen and husband, Thomas; a son, Ronald A. McMillen and wife, Victoria; three grandchildren, T.R. Allen and wife, Claudia, Ryan Joseph Allen and girlfriend, HerAndy Maza, and Lauren McMillen; two great grandchildren, Savanna and Skylar Allen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. “Bud” McMillen Jr.; and a brother, Andrew Horney. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
